TonicNest card titled Fall Asleep Faster, with a label panel listing a 6 hour caffeine cutoff, a warm bath 1 to 2 hours before bed and getting up after 20 minutes awake

To fall asleep fast, stop caffeine at least 6 hours before bed, take a warm bath or shower 1 to 2 hours before, and write a short to-do list. In bed, use slow breathing or muscle relaxation, and get up if you are still awake after about 20 minutes. For ongoing insomnia, CBT-I cut time to sleep by about 19 minutes in trials.

Ashwagandha Benefits and Side Effects: Stress, Sleep and Liver Risks

Ashwagandha benefits and side effects card with a label panel listing the 300 to 600 mg trial dose, 6 to 12 week trial length and liver and thyroid cautions

Ashwagandha may ease stress and improve sleep a little. In 12 trials with 1,002 adults, ashwagandha extracts lowered stress and anxiety scores more than placebo, mostly at 300 to 600 mg a day, but the evidence is low in certainty. Side effects are usually mild, though rare cases of liver injury have been reported. Avoid it if pregnant or if you have thyroid disease.

Pay for doses, not for adjectives.
